Caracas: The Venezuelan Foundation for Seismological Research, or Funvisis, reported Saturday that a magnitude-4.1 quake was felt in the central region of the South American country.
The Venezuelan state seismological agency said in a report that the epicenter was located 35 km west of La Guaira on the central coast, an area declared a disaster zone after suffering severe damage from Wednesday's two earthquakes.
The official report said the quake had a depth of 5 km.
