Fancy and luxury cars, including Jaguars, Ferraris, Mustangs and other expensive marques, can be seen in a daily parade of vehicles on the Corniche Road during Ramadan. The parade features limited-edition models by Jaguar and Lexus, apart from exclusive motorcycles from Suzuki and Harley-Davidson. Many people, especially keen shutterbugs, gather every day from 3.30 pm to 6 pm at the Corniche to take pictures of their favourite vehicles. The trend began in 2005 and, according to onlookers, the participants are becoming more creative with each passing year. Traffic rules are often violated during the show, where many are fined for driving slowly, faulty parking, not using seat belts and using mobile phones while driving.
