DOHA: Global ratings agency Standard & Poor’s has reaffirmed the financial strength of Doha Insurance Company (DIC) with stable outlook at (A-).
At a time when both the regional and global economy facing troubles, S&P’s reaffirmation of DIC’s rating means a lot for the company, said Sheikh Nawaf Nasser bin Khaled Al Thani (pictured), Chairman of DIC. “Under the current regional and global economic circumstances, which have reflected negatively on the ratings of many companies and even several countries, S&P’s rating is an important achievement,” he said.
