DOHA: HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met here at his Emiri Diwan Office this morning with Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Chung Hong-won and the accompanying delegation.
At the outset of the meeting, the Korean Prime Minister conveyed congratulations of President Park Geun-hyeon to HH the Emir on the occasion of taking the reins of power in the country.
For his part, HH the Emir entrusted the Korean Premier to convey his greetings to the President of Korea as well as his wishes for her and the Korean people of further progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, HH the Emir discussed with the Korean Premier bilateral relations and ways of developing them in various areas, particularly in the economic areas, in addition to aspects of cooperation in a number of issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani. (QNA)
