DOHA: HE the Minister of State for Defense Affairs Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah received on Tuesday a letter from Greek Defense Minister Panos Panagiotopoulos.
Greek ambassador to Qatar, HE Helen-Elsa Zorbala, handed over the letter during a meeting with HE Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah here today.
During the meeting, the two sides reveiwed issues of common interest, especially in military affairs.
The Greek Ambassador whose tenure in Qatar has expired, handed the letter to HE the Minister of State for Defense Affairs who wished her every success in her future missions and further progress and prosperity to the two countries .
The meeting was attended by a number of the armed forces senior officers. (QNA)
