DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Tuesday 127.13 points or 1.28 percent to 9,771.41 points from the previous closing of 9,898.54 points.
The volume of the shares up to 12,288,715 from 9,197,640 on Monday and the value of shares increased to QR534,689,263.43 from QR460,727,352.19 Monday.
Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 0.94 percent to QR157.40, Qatar Islamic Bank lost 1.96 percent to QR70.10, International Islamic Bank fell 2.08 percent to QR56.40 and Electricity and Water down by 2.14 percent to QR160.00.
The Banking and Financial sector index was dropped 0.92 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 1.17 points.
The industrial sector was down 1.24 points while insurance sector fell 0.67 points. (QNA)
