Doha: Bindu Salim (pictured), the Student Counsellor and Head of Psychology Department at DPS-MIS School, was recently awarded Doctorate of Philosophy.
She teaches psychology and counsels students and staff for their emotional and mental strengths. She is also instrumental in identifying and handling learning disability and behavioural cases and organising workshops.
Her Psychology thesis on ‘Marital adjustment and its psycho-social correlates – a cross cultural study of women in Kerala and Qatar’ submitted at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala got her this honour.
