DOHA: Quality Aviation Instruments, Inc. (QAI) and Gulf Helicopters, Inc. (GHC) announced yesterday in London that they had entered into a joint venture for component repair facilities in Doha.
The agreement covers component repairs of accessories, avionics and instruments. “This new facility will enable us to expedite service, reduce downtime, and reduce costs for our customers,” said QAI President Robert Sieber. “The repair shops will be certified by the FAA and EASA and are expected to begin operations in late 2013 or early 2014.
