A test launch of a short range surface-to-surface Missile Hatf IX (NASR), at an undisclosed location in Pakistan yesterday. Pakistan successfully test fired the NASR short-range missile with the capability to carry nuclear warheads. The surface-to-surface Hatf-IX missile has a range of 60 kilometres and a ‘quick-response system’ referring to the smaller amount of logistical effort needed to launch it, a military statement said.
