Doha: Qatar Olympic Committee congratulated five runners from Qatar for completing the Berlin Marathon, one of the six major marathon races in the world.
Salim Al Eidah (3:06:53), Ibrahim Al Obaidli (4:55:50), Mohamed Al Obaidli (5:11:44), Ibrahim Al Mansouri (5:42:13) and Ahmed Al Kuwari (6:04:46) clocked outstanding times while completing the 42.2km-marathon yesterday, September 26, 2021.
The 2021 Berlin Marathon was the 47th edition with about 25,000 runners taking the field. Berlin Marathon is the same venue where the current official men's world marathon record of 2:01:39 was set by Kenya's Eliud Kipchoge three years ago.
