ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan has decided to grant extension to Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Syed Jalil Abbas Jilani, who is attaining superannuation in December. He assumed the assignment in Washington in January this year, and he will be getting two years extension in service as he would continue in the position for the period. Ambassador Jilani served as foreign secretary of Pakistan for 21 months before proceeding to Washington. INTERNEWS
