DOHA: The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) announced that the awarding of the winners of the second edition of the Katara Prize for Cartoons will take place during the month of November, in conjunction with the activities accompanying the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The value of each of these prizes is as follows:
First prize - USD 5,000
Second prize - USD 4000
Third prize - USD 3,000
The competition is open to all cartoonists over the age of 18. The written text must be in Arabic or English and the subject of the drawings should be sports and football.
Each participant is allowed to submit a maximum of three works, provided that the new entries shall be made specifically for this competition, and the drawings shall not have been previously published in the media, social networking sites, or websites.
