DOHA: The Qatar Exchange ended in the green area when trading closed Wednesday at 10,353.15 points or 0.82 percent up 84.46 points from the previous closing of Tuesday points on Tuesday.
The volume of shares was down to 14,779,339 from Tuesday's 15,680,769 and the value of shares increased to QR 422,482,637.71 from QR 395,232,592.77 on Tuesday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank whose share up 1.76 percent to QR 173.00, Industries Qatar whose share added 1.51 percent to QR 168.50, Electricity & Water raised 1.65 percent to QR 166.40 and Aamal increased by 0.81 percent to QR 14.97.
The Banking and Financial sector index was gained 1.02 percent points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.17 percent points.
The industrial sector was up 1.16 percent points while insurance sector added 0.19 percent points. (QNA)
