Shia protesters in Bahrain hold up national flag as they take part in an anti-government demonstration in the village of Jannusan, west of capital Manama, yesterday. The Sunni-ruled kingdom held parliamentary elections last November that have been boycotted by the main opposition Al Wefaq movement which calls for democratic reforms.
