Foggy morning forecast, Abu Samra to be coldest

DOHA: The weather bureau has forecast a foggy morning today and said it will affect visibility, which could be as poor as one kilometre or less at first in places.
The evening will be cold as usual with the wind direction being northwesterly.
There will be chill in the air as the wind will blow from the colder regions of snow-clad Europe.
The day will witness moderate temperature as the maximum temperature forecast is 21 to 24 degrees Celsius.
In Doha, the maximum temperature could be around 23 degrees and the minimum or night temperature around 15 degrees.
Abu Samra will be the coldest place in the country today with day temperatures likely to be around 21 degrees. At night, the mercury will drop to 14 degrees there.
In Al Ruwais, which normally has a pleasant weather even during the summer months, the difference between the maximum and minimum temperatures will be about three degrees.
The minimum temperature forecast for the place is 18 degrees and the maximum 21.
According to the forecast, the weather offshore will be slightly dusty with some clouds hovering over the horizon.
The wind offshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly with speed between seven and 15 knots. Inland, northwesterly wind will have a speed that could go up to 13 knots during the day but as night falls, the speed could slow down to five knots.
Visibility will improve to between 3km and 8km as the day progresses and the fog would clear. The sea wouldn’t be tumultuous with waves jumping up two to four feet high.
Near the shore, the sea wouldn’t be wavy, according to the forecast.
