DOHA: The Ministry of Environment has begun collecting wild seeds from across the country for use in creating greeneries in some open areas. The process of collection includes sterilisation and storing the seeds in safe places. The seeds of some trees will be used in Umm Karen nursery for producing more seedlings. The ministry has also begun preparing technical and economic studies on plant cultivation using containers, and agricultural production without soil. It is marketing local agricultural products in several yards which are gaining popularity with time.The Peninsula
