DOHA: The State Secretary of the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Office responsible for Foreign Affairs and Economy, Peter Szijjarto, is visiting Doha today to strengthen relations with Qatar. Szijjarto will be received by H E Rashed bin Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H E Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Minister of Business and Trade, and H E Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry.
Bilateral agreements are expected to be signed, the Hungarian embassy said. Negotiations with top officials of Qatar Investment Authority, Hassad Food, Qatar Rail and Supreme Committee for Qatar 2022 are also included in the agenda. The meetings will focus on the cooperation opportunities in political and economic fields.
Indian Embassy Open House on Thursday
DOHA: The Indian Embassy will hold its next Open House for its nationals on Thursday to discuss any urgent issues related to them.
The Open House will be held from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Brief information on issues/cases proposed to be discussed with the Embassy may be given in writing from 5:30pm to 6pm.
This will be followed by interaction with officials of the Embassy.
Albanian PM reviews Qatari cooperation
Tirana: Albania’s Prime Minister Sali Berisha met in Tirana Qatar’s Ambassador to the Republic Yousef bin Hassan Al Saai, accompanied by Qatari investment delegation comprising representatives of Diar, Hassad, Kahramaa, Qatar Mining and Civil Aviation.
Talks dealt with means of strengthening economic cooperation and investment opportunities in Albania. Albanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Trade and Energy Edmond Haxhinasto also met the ambassador.
Costa Rica’s minister meets Qatari envoy
San Jose: The Costa Rican Minister of Communications, Francisco Chacon Gonzalez met the Qatari Ambassador Jaber Ali Alathba.
They discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations.
