In an update to this earlier posting, Branislav Ivanovic seems to be officially on his way to Russian side Zenit St Petersburg.
The 32 year old will reportedly sign on a two-and-a-half year deal worth £4.3 million a year on a free transfer.
As reported by the Daily Star:
“Branislav Ivanovic will join Zenit St Petersburg in the coming days, according to reports.
Russian outlet Sport Express say it is a done deal and the Serbian right back will be moving this month.
He has agreed a two-and-a-half year deal worth £4.3m-a-year in what could be a free transfer.
Initially Ivanovic was thought to to be singing for an extra 12 months more than reported here.”
