IMA organises seminar on anti-corruption strategies

The Institute of Management Accounts (IMA) – Qatar Chapter has organised a seminar under the tile of “Anti - Fraud & Anti - Corruption Strategy” on February 15, 2017 at the Mall Cinema Theater, Doha.
The seminar was organized in collaboration of the Association of Certifies Fraud Examiners (ACFE). The event has been inaugurated by Moamen Omar, president of IMA Qatar Chapter, and it has been attended by more than 150 attendees from both IMA & ACFE members and financial professionals in Doha. The topic covered areas about practices and strategies of confronting fraud and corruption in organizations.
The speaker on this seminar was Iyad Mourtada, CFE, CIA, CMA, CRMA, CCSA, CSX, the Managing Director of Open Thinking, which is a leading business training company in Dubai. Iyad is an international speaker, trainer and consultant with a diverse background in internal auditing, risk management and fraud examination.
His innovative and creative teaching approach proved to be effective in adding value to the learning process of more than 10,000 professionals in the last 8 years.
