The Board of Directors of the Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund held its first meeting for the year 2024 yesterday, chaired by Minister of Labour H E Dr. Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri, who is also chairman of the board of directors of the fund.
The meeting discussed several topics on its agenda and made a series of decisions and recommendations aimed at improving the performance and effectiveness of the fund, contributing to enhancing the work environment. The fund, established under Law No. (17) of 2018, aims to support, insure, and care for workers.
