Doha, Qatar: Amir of the State of Qatar HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a telephone call today from his brother, HM King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco.
At the beginning of the call, His Majesty expressed his concern for the situation in the State of Qatar following the brutal Iranian aggression, affirming the Kingdom of Morocco's full solidarity with Qatar and its support in light of the developments in the region.
He also expressed Morocco's readiness to provide all necessary support to enhance Qatar's security and stability and safeguard its sovereignty.
For his part, HH the Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation to HM the King of Morocco for his sincere brotherly sentiments and the solidarity and support he expressed, which reflects the depth of the fraternal ties that bind the two brotherly countries.
The call also addressed developments in the regional situation and their repercussions on peace and stability. Both sides stressed the importance of de-escalation and intensifying diplomatic efforts to preserve the region's security and stability.
