Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has sent a cable of heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the Malaysia’s King Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah and President of China Xi Jinping on the Malaysian Airlines Flight victims.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani has sent similar cable to the Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang.
Doha: The Minister of State for Defence Affairs Major General H E Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah met separately yesterday with South Africa’s Minister of Defence Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, Tunisian Defence Minister Ghazi Jeribi, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces of Morocco Gen Abdelaziz Bennani, the representative of the Minister of Defence of France Gen Stefan Rand the chief of staff of the Greek armed forces.
The meetings were held on the sidelines of the DIMDEX 2014, at the Qatar National Convention Centre. Discussions during the meetings dealt with issues of mutual interest, especially military affairs.
Tunis: Tunisian Minister of Employment and Vocational Training Hafez Amory Tunisian met here yesterday with Qatar’s Ambassador Abdullah bin Nasser Al Huaimdi.
Discussions dealt with bilateral cooperation, especially in vocational rehabilitation and employment domains.
Al Humaidi also met with President of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Handicrafts Widad Bouchmari where they reviewed the role played by the private sector in each countries in support of cooperative relations between the two countries especially in the economic and investments sectors.
