Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday received a telephone call from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia. They discussed fraternal ties between the two countries and means of boosting them as well as regional developments.
Education Minister meets students
Doha: Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Mohammed Abdul Wahed Ali Al Hammadi yesterday met student delegations from a Japanese and a Qatari school that participated in an exchange programme. Qatari students spoke about their experiences in Japan and Japanese students about their impressions of Qatar. The Minister encouraged them to continue academic and cultural interaction.
