With Operation Storm Resolve the GCC states have confirmed that they are a military power and if they are united they can deter anyone who tries to undermine their security.

The coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia in Operation Storm Resolve acted to support the legitimacy of President Abdrabuh Mansur Hadi, who request the intervention to stop the advance of Houthis forces, who already controlled the capital Sana’a, and key areas of the state, and impose reality on the ground. This operation has lined up Arabs in one coalition to take action. If there is real volition and conscious leaders became aware of the imminent danger then taking action become reality and this is what Suadi did at this critical situation.
They were no alternatives have been left for the GCC states who spared no effort during the past years to rescue Yemen through the GCC initiative aimed to get the country out of the crisis but Houthis militia rejected all initiatives tabled to save Yemen’s unity and stability. Instead they destabilized the country getting support from foreign power and made deal with the former president of Yemen Ali Abdullah Saleh who is leading Special Forces with his son Ahmed. Thus the former president Saleh and the Houthis strived to foil the GCC initiative through a military coup, disrespecting all understanding and political process under going in order to implement foreign agendas to control Yemen.
Houthis controlled all government insinuations and kept the legitimate president and the prime minister under house arrest for long period beddie other ministers and they appointed new government under different titles disregarding the interests of the Yemeni people. Housthi has tampered with security of Yemen ignoring that Yemen’s security is security of the Gulf States. The instability of Yemen not only reflects directly on the GCC state but it affects all Arab countries and the entire region. What the Houthis did was not the right choice of Yemenis but they are being used as instruments to implement foreign agendas to make Yemen dagger in the side of the Gulf States.
The initiative taken by Saudi Arabia to form Arab coalition to protect an Arab sister state, save its security and maintain peace and stability for its people is one of the King Saman’s great achievements and the defense minister who is coordinating and supervising the operation by himself. The step is compatible with the Arab Joint Work Pact, and the GCC defense agreement.
Since decades Arab were lost their way and their lands were being cuts in pieces, their capitals have been occupied by their enemies and there were no actions to protect their sovereignties. But Operation Storm Resolve has came to restore the prestige and status of the Arab who began to determine their fates.
As the attitudes of Houthis and their alliances have revealed their plans and hidden agendas and this made the military very necessary to save the entire region and the Saudi led forces were the right decision to save sister state from sliding into vast civil war and become failed state which at the end will destabilise the region.
With Operation Storm Resolve the GCC states have confirmed that they are a military power and if they are united they can deter anyone who tries to affect their security and destabilize their region. The operation proved that these countries not only have the ability to protect their sovereignties but also have the abilities to save other sister countries.
GCC citizens feel today proud of their leaders with hopes these united forces will stand to defend the Arabs rights. Therefore this coalition must not end his operation before realizing the aims set and save the country from the Houthis and their local and foreign alliances.
The legitimacy in Yemen should be restored and state institutions should be rebuilt and Houthis should come back to the political process and dialogue they rejected.
