Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday sent cables of congratulations to presidents of the Republic of South Africa, the Togolese Republic and the Republic of Sierra Leone on their countries’ National Day.
The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani also sent similar cables to South Africa, Togo and Sierra Leone presidents.
Emir condoles with Russian president
Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the Deputy Emir and heir Apparent HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent cables of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin, on the victims of the fire, which broke out in a psychiatric hospital southeast of the Russian capital, Moscow, yesterday.
The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani also sent a similar cable to the Russian president.
