Doha: Sharq Village & Spa in collaboration with Six Senses Spa, H2O and Qatar Charity, will organise ‘Swim for a Cause’, an important activity for charity through an open water swimming challenge for a cause.
Swim for cause’s purpose is to provide drinking water to people who do not have access to clean water in the developing countries.
At the same time, this activities will be the occasion to promote healthy life style to everyone.
“All those who are passionate by swimming are invited to join and participate in different activities,” said Asela Jayaweera, Recreation Manager at Sharq Village & Spa
Sharq Village & Spa takes part also in Water safety program for kids in order to minimize drowning incidents in Qatar.
The event, which is expected to attract a large number of swimming enthusiasts, hopes to raise water safety education and how to react for emergency and to raise awareness with the parents for water safety as well.There will be two contests – 500m and 1,000m.
