Doha: Ooredoo yesterday announced new ‘Smart’ products and services to enhance Qatar’s standing as one of the world’s best connected countries in the world, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. New launches include Smart Wifi, Smart Healthcare services and security products.

Unveiled for the first time at QITCOM 2014, Smart Wifi from Ooredoo is designed to revolutionise the way enterprises use data. It enables enterprises to control how much of bandwidth each user gets, how many people are accessing the Internet at any point of time, can count how many people have disconnected, which devises people are using to access the Internet, which sites they are visiting, and much more.
Ooredoo also unveiled Smart Healthcare services. The new solutions will enable customers to purchase latest easy-to-use smart healthcare devices, such as the HealthGuard-3000 Blood Circulation Analyzer, the world’s first near-infrared and non-invasive blood circulation technique that enables fast and accurate results, checks blood vessel aging, vascular elasticity, ejection time and strength of cardiac output.
Ooredoo also launched HealthGuard Wellness Kiosks, empowering customers to examine people effectively and quickly with near-infrared technology to perform an entire body composition analysis.
For the home, Ooredoo introduced latest security products for small business and consumers, placing a perfect Home Automation solution at customer’s fingertips. Smart Home is a wireless, secure, innovative and accessible self-security solution.
Smart Home gives customers customised control of their home or small business through cameras that stream video surveillance, alerts in changes in an environment via phone or PC, high-end technology that can remotely control lighting systems, music, sound and multimedia.
