The Committee of Governors of Monetary Institutions and Central Banks of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries held its 68th meeting at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the GCC in Riyadh, yesterday .
Governor of Qatar Central Bank (QCB) H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud Al -Thani took part in the meeting, QNA reported.
The Committee discussed a number of topics, including the recommendations of committees and working teams on the payment systems in the GCC States. The meeting also discussed several working papers on the latest monetary and financial developments in the GCC States and exchanged views on them.
