Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Public Health has announced the temporary closure of a health centre operating within the private healthcare sector.
This action follows an inspection visit carried out by the Ministry’s Department of Healthcare Professions, which revealed that the centre failed to meet the minimum required number of healthcare practitioners necessary for its operation, violating the regulations and standards approved in the State.
The Ministry of Public Health emphasised the necessity for all healthcare facilities in the country to comply with the laws and regulations governing the healthcare sector.
It further stressed the importance of fulfilling all statutory requirements when carrying out any health-related activities to safeguard patient safety and ensure the quality of healthcare services provided.
