Doha, Qatar: Commander of the Qatar Emiri Naval Forces, Major General (Navy) Abdullah Hassan Al Sulaiti, met with the Chief of Staff of the French Navy, Admiral Nicolas Vaujour and the accompanying delegation at Umm Al Houl Naval Base.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest and explored ways to strengthen and further develop bilateral cooperation. 
The French delegation also toured the Strategic Transport and Support Ship (L141) Al Fulk.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chief of Staff of the French Navy awarded Major General (Navy) Abdullah Hassan Al Sulaiti the French National Order of the Legion of Honour.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers from both sides.
