DOHA: Salah Eldin, known as B-Boy Lil Salah, will represent Qatar at the Middle East and Africa regional finals of Red Bull BC One to be held in Amman, Jordan on Friday.
Salah will be the youngest among the 16 contenders from Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco, Lebanon, Senegal, Jordan, Algeria, UAE and South Africa who will battle it out to secure a place in the world finals to be held in Seoul, South Korea on November 30.
This is the second time Salah is representing Qatar in the most anticipated global Break Dancing competition which combines fancy footwork and off-the-wall moves.
He was crowned based on his performance as well as the bold moves that appealed to the jury. His shows reflected great flexibility and a unique style with various moves such as slides and complex feet moves.
A panel of world Break Dance champions will evaluate the performances of the participants according to specific criteria, most importantly dance technique, innovation and dance flow. This panel includes B-Boys Pelezinho from Brazil, Roxrite from the US and Lilou from France.
