DOHA: Students of Pakistan Education Centre (PEC) and Bright Future Pakistani International School (BFPIS) excelled in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part II results that were announced by the Islamabad-based Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) yesterday.
As many as 150 students appeared in examination from PEC, out of which 137 passed with nine A1 grades, 21 A grades, 32 B grades, while the remaining scored C grades. The overall pass percentage was 91.33 percent.
The pass percentage of BFPIS was 90 percent and a total of 27 students appeared in the exam. Masooma Safeer from BFPIS topped the school by obtaining 978 out of 1,100 marks, while Maysa Nasir stood second with 941 marks.
Among PEC students, Abeer Nazeer topped with 945 marks, Sania Hussain got second position by securing 944 marks and Nadia Abdul Karim stood third with 921 marks.
Other BFPIS students who passed the examination with A+ and A grade included, Maria Fatima (883), Fatima Haji (874), Dania Farooq (855), Sara Akram (854), Aqsa Javed (820), Ijlal Muneeb (813) and Ibrahim Shah (813).
