DOHA: A back-to-school promotion has commenced at Safari Hypermarket outlets in Doha and Safari Mall in Abu Hamour has organised a School Bag Festival and Children’s Drawing Competition.
Children up to the age of 10 years will be classified as sub-juniors and those aged 11 to 15 will be classified as juniors in the drawing competition, which will be held on August 28 for juniors and on August 30 for sub-juniors at 6pm at Safari Mall, Abu Hamour. Only the first 50 applicants will be accepted in each category, the Safari Group Management said in a statement.
Attractive prizes are on offer for winners of the drawing competition. In the sub-junior category, the first prize will be a Sony PS4 console, the second prize will be a Microsoft XBox 360 and the third prize will be a Sony PS3. In the junior category, the first prize will be a Lenovo Edge desktop computer and HP Deskjet printer, the second prize will be a HP Laptop and HP Deskjet printer, and the third prize will be a Samsung T331 Galaxy Tab 8’. All the 100 participants will get a consolation prize. The application form for the competition can be obtained from the customer care desks at Safari Mall, Abu Hamour and Safari Hypermarket, Salwa Road.
As part of the promotion, an exhibition of more than 100 types of school bags, which are on sale at attractive prices, is on. Notebooks, school uniforms, pens, pencils, colouring crayons, footwear and allied products are also on display. The King Touch 7” tablet is available for QR99 in an exclusive offer. A Flamingo four-piece school set is available for QR49.
A special promotion of Qatar Detergents Company is on at all Safari outlets. Customers who make purchases worth QR20 or more will get a raffle ticket to participate in a draw. Thirty winners will be selected over 30 days. Each winner will get Safari gift vouchers worth QR500.
As part of Onam celebrations, customers can purchase any four Eastern products and get one free.
There is also an ongoing Clickon promotion wherein purchases of QR50 and above enable customers to participate in a lucky draw to win a Toyota Prado SUV or other exciting prizes.
