Doha: Members of the “Shabab Lad3m” programme, organised by the Ministry of Sports and Youth, participated in intensive training workshops on the art of debates, building arguments and discussing various issues of interest to society and the world, presented by Qatar Debate Centre, a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development.
The programme comes within one of the effective objectives of Qatar Debate, with the aim of enhancing youth capacity building in the general frameworks of analogy, and providing them with a knowledge portfolio on the means of obtaining information and how to use it in the appropriate place and time.
Qatar Debate was keen to design the workshops in an applied style and methodology to raise the efficiency of the participants in building their position on local and international issues of interest to societies and focus on presenting and defending the position.
The Ministry of Sports and Youth launched the second edition of “Shabab Lad3m” programme last August, with the participation of 28 young Qatari men and women, and its activities will continue until October 8.
