Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of greetings to the President of the Republic of Turkmenistan on the occasion of his country’s National Day.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also sent a cable greeting the President of the Republic of Turkmenistan on the same occasion.
Minister to attend Yemen mass wedding
Doha: The Assistant Foreign Minister for International Cooperation Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohamed bin Jabor Al Thani and his accompanying delegation will leave for Yemen today to attend the 4th Orphans’ Mass Wedding 2013.
The ceremony will be held upon an Emiri Gesture of the Father Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and under the patronage of the President of Yemen Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi. This gesture is a continuation of the ongoing Qatari support for sponsoring orphans in various Yemeni provinces.
Sharjah ruler meets Qatari envoy
Sharjah: The Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi met yesterday with Qatari Ambassador in UAE and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Othman, whose term of office has expired. The Ruler of Sharjah wished the Qatari Ambassador well in his future posting, praising his role in enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
