WASHINGTON: HE Chairman of Qatar's Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah met Tuesday with a number of journalists and representatives of US news agencies.
During the meeting, they exchanged views, particularly in media affairs.
The meeting was attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador to the United States Mohammed bin Jaham Al Kuwari and members of the delegation accompanying HE Al Attiyah.
Al Attiyah participates in US-Qatar Business Council's seminar
HE Chairman of Qatar's Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah participated Monday in the seminar which organized by the US-Qatar Business Council.
HE Al Attiyah reviewed during the seminar the most important and latest developments at the Qatari arena in the field of energy and the government efforts in the area of transparency and strengthening mechanisms for the protection of expatriate workers' rights in the country.
The seminar was attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador to the United States Mohammed bin Jaham Al Kuwari, President of the US-Qatar Business Council Patrick Theros and the accompanying delegation of HE Al Attiyah.
A large number of representatives of the leading companies in the field of energy, businessmen, intellectuals and journalists also attended the seminar.
Qatari envoy to US hosts dinner banquet for Al Attiyah
HE Qatar's Ambassador to the United States Mohammed bin Jaham Al Kuwari has hosted a dinner banquet on the honor of HE Chairman of Qatar's Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah on the occasion of his visit to Washington to participate in the 23rd Annual Arab-US Policymakers Conference.
The ceremony was attended by members of the delegation accompanying HE Al Attiyah. (QNA)
