Doha: Tickets for the eagerly-awaited 2016 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters have been put on sale, organisers for the mega tournament said yesterday.
The event will run from January 27 to 30, 2016 in Doha.
General admission tickets, VIP concert tickets and hospitality passes can now be purchased online and through numerous outlets in Qatar.
The tournament, is being organised by Qatar Golf Association (QGA), the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), Doha Golf Club and long-term title sponsor, Commercial Bank.
Tickets are available at Virgin Megastores (Online and in-store in Doha), Ticket Master, Time Out Tickets, Q Tickets, Doha Golf Club and more.
Tickets price starts at QR150, according to the organisers.
Entry is free for children under 14 years of age and each ticket purchased entitles the holder to one free roundtrip journey to and from the Doha Golf Club by event partner UBER.
For fans looking for an extra-special experience with a Michelin starred chef (to be announced), hospitality packages are available through the tournament’s official website www.qatar-masters.com/hospitality.
Organisers will welcome a star-studded line-up for the $2.5m prize fund showpiece, which sits at the heart of The European Tour’s desert swing.
The tournament’s list of champions includes former world number ones Ernie Els (2005) and Adam Scott (2002 and 2008), Ryder Cup stars Sergio Garcia (2014), Thomas Bjørn (2011), Henrik Stenson (2006), Paul Lawrie (1999 and 2012) and Robert Karlsson (2010), and two-time US Open Champion Retief Goosen (2007).
On January 29, a headline music act (to be announced) will rock the popular Public Village following close of play as part of the village concert series, which has previously seen the likes of Billy Ocean, Texas and Natasha Bedingfield packing out the venue and making for one of the most popular social events on Doha’s calendar.
