Doha: Naseem Medical Centre has organised a campaign to create awareness about symptoms and early detection of breast cancer, recently.  As part of the campaign ‘Think Pink- A Dialogue on Breast Cancer’ a group discussion was held and it was lead by gynecologist Dr. Zeba Iqbal and attended by Heba Nassar from the Health Education Department of Qatar Cancer Society and several bloggers.

The event also featured, eminent motivational speaker and mental health advocate, Mahdiya Farook and Nazma Mazhar associated with The Social Panthers programme. Key influencers including Certified Image Consultant, Elisabete Reis; CEO of Whats Up Doha, Zunira Malik; Ruqiyya Bafagih (Instagram); Layali (Lifestyle Blogger); Mehru J (Lifestyle Blogger); Singer and TikTok Artist, Fousiya Unais and Aaliya Kazi supported to spread the awareness message  on social media platforms across Qatar. 

As a committed healthcare provider in the region, Naseem Medical Centre has organised the event advocating for appropriate policies and programs for breast cancer control.

Raising awareness of breast cancer is key to preventing it. Every year, October is commemorated as ‘Breast Cancer Awareness month’ globally to promote awareness about early detection and treatment.
