Doha: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice H E Saeed bin Abdullah Al Suwaidi said the ministry is poised to conduct an overall revamp of its real estate service system to be in accord with the Third National Development Strategy and the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.

The Undersecretary was speaking during a visit to the ministry’s pavilion at the 4th Qatar Real Estate Forum. He added that the Smart Real Estate Appraiser, which the ministry debuted at the forum, is poised to substantially foster the efficiency of the real estate system, streamline transactions, and significantly improve the customer experience.

The Appraiser will also provide more comprehensive, advanced and reliable indicative information, an important outgrowth of efforts to bolster the State of Qatar’s investment climate and support sustainable real estate development, H E Al Suwaidi underlined.

Al Suwaidi recalled the foremost role this pavilion undertakes in familiarising the public with real estate registration services, transactions concerning real estate sales and ownership transfers, the issuance of property deeds, and real estate residency permits in lockstep with the Ministry of Interior, along with legal services and consultations on non-Qataris’ property ownership and usufruct rights, in conformity with enforced legislation and regulations.

The Undersecretary pointed out that the ministry has been committed to participating in this forum since its inaugural edition, affirming that the ministry has been aware of the significance of this gathering as a thoroughgoing platform to showcase the merits of the real estate sector in the State of Qatar in terms of investment attraction and flexibility of transactions, as well as streamlined access to real estate services, thanks to the incredible support the nation provides to this kind of sector.

He outlined that the combination of the ministry’s services with the multiple initiatives unlocked by stakeholders in sector development under the umbrella of the government pavilion contributes to creating an integrated system that advances the real estate sector and supports national efforts.
