DOHA: The Qatar Exchange ended in the green area when trading closed Thursday at 10,375.06 points or 0.82 percent up 21.91 points from the previous closing of 10,353.15 points on Wednesday.
The volume of shares was down to 10,496,961 from Wednesday's 14,779,339 and the value of shares decreased to QR 317,393,886.99 from QR 422,482,637.71 on Wednesday.
Among the top gainers were Comm. Bank of Qatar whose share up 0.44 percent to QR 68.80, Vodafone Qatar whose share added 0.82 percent to QR 11.10, Electricity & Water raised 1.44 percent to QR 168.80 and Nakilat increased by 1.71 percent to QR 20.85.
The Banking and Financial sector index was down 0.24 percent points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.44 percent points.
The industrial sector was up 0.06 percent points while insurance sector added 0.76 percent points. (QNA)
