Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday sent a cable of condolences to the Emir of Kuwait H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah following the death of Sheikh Talal Nasser Sabah Al Nasser Al Mubarak Al Sabah.
The Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani sent a similar cable to the Kuwaiti Emir.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also sent a cable of condolences to the Kuwaiti Emir.
Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday received a written message from H M King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain in response to an invitation to attend the 35th session of the GCC Supreme Council in Doha.
The message was received by the Foreign Minister H E Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah during a meeting with Bahraini Ambassador Wahid Mubarak Sayar.

Doha: The Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs H E Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi yesterday hosted a farewell ceremony for the outgoing Uruguay Ambassador Jose Luis Remedi at Ritz-Carlton Doha. Heads of diplomatic missions and offices and directors of the Foreign Ministry’s departments were also present.

Attorney General meets US team
Doha: The Attorney General Dr Ali bin Fetais Al Marri yesterday met a US congressional delegation and briefed the members on Qatari judicial system and achievements in the fight against corruption.
Doha: Qatar will attend the 36th meeting of the Permanent Bureau of the Union of Arab Jurists in Amman on November 29-30.
The Justice Ministry’s Undersecretary Sultan bin Abdullah Al Suwaidi will head a delegation to the meeting to discuss issues and topics relating to human rights and international humanitarian law in Arab countries. QNA
