DPS-Modern Indian School (DPS-MIS), with a conviction to convey socially and morally relevant messages through its annual days, celebrated its 17th Junior School Annual Day, with a theme “Vidyasha...Empowerment through Education”.

The cultural extravaganza -- a unique blend of colours, flairs and verve -- epitomised what DPS-MIS as an institution stands for and believes in. The function was graced by the Chief Guest, Surindra Bhagat, First Secretary of Political and Commerce Embassy of India; Special Guest, Rawda Safwan Zaidan, Director of Private Schools Affairs of  Ministry of Education; Hassan Chougule, DPS-MIS President; Yasir Nainar, school Vice-President and esteemed members of DPS-MIS Management, distinguished guests and parents.

Extending a warm welcome to all the distinguished guests, Principal Ms. Asna Nafees, expressed her gratitude towards all the devoted parents for their overwhelming response that serves as a testament of their trust and confidence in the institution.

Expressing her views on the theme Vidyasha...Empowerment through Education” she mentioned that it exemplifies the mission statement and the vision of DPS-MIS. It is vital that we become socially engaged and educate the next generation to be more socially aware, contributing to the upliftment of the underprivileged and making the farfetched dream of millions come true. In the recently concluded Wise Summit 2017, the keynote that resonated was ‘Universal Primary Education’ which means education for all.
