Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has sent a cable of condolences to the Emir of Kuwait H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah on the death of Sheikha Sheikha Salem Ali Al  Malek Al Sabah.
The Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani sent a similar cable to the Kuwaiti Emir.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also sent a condolence cable to Sheikh Sabah.

Emir gets call from Turkish President

Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday received a telephone call from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
They  reviewed means of enhancing relations as well as regional and international issues.

Turkmen President receives envoy

Ashgabat: The President of Turkmenistan, Dr Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, received the credentials of Qatari Ambassador Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Suwaidi.
The envoy conveyed greetings of the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his wishes of the best of health and the Turkmenistan people further progress and growth.
The president expressed keenness to enhance relations and gratitude for the opening of the Qatari embassy in Turkmenistan.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov also received a copy of the credentials of Al Suwaidi.
Meredov expressed his country’s keenness to promote relations in several areas of common interest.
Qatar-Vatican     ties reviewed
The Vatican: The Vatican’s Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin met Qatar’s Non-resident Ambassador Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Thani and reviewed relations between both countries.
