SEC issues licences to 100 teachers

DOHA: The Supreme Education Council (SEC) has issued professional licences to the first batch of 100 teachers and administrators at Independent schools. The licence has been made mandatory for all teachers and senior administrators of the private and independent schools. A provisional licence will be issued to the eligible applicants to be replaced by a permanent licence.
All the 100 applicants have now received their permanent licence. Another 146 applications are currently under review and 36 applications are withheld for further scrutiny. 
 
 

Assistant foreign minister meets Hungarian minister  

Doha: The Assistant Foreign Minister for Services Affairs H E Rahsid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa met yesterday Hungarian Minister of State at the Council of Ministers for Foreign Policy and Economy Peter Szijjarto.
