DOHA: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced that a traffic diversion will be in place on Lehwaila Link Road, 200m east of Lehwaila Interchange (Interchange No. 66) on North Road in Madinat Al Kaaban.
It begins on Saturday and continues for six months.
The diversion is required to carry out work on two bridges over the link road which forms part of Lehwaila Interchange 66 construction works as part of a project to improve North Road.
The link road will be reduced from two lanes to one in each direction, and traffic will be diverted around the construction area.
Ashghal will install signs to advise motorists about the diversion.
It has urged road users to abide by speed limits and follow signs for their safety.The Peninsula
