Doha: The World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH), a global initiative of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), has announced that former US Department of Health administrator, Don Berwick, (pictured)will attend this year’s summit as a keynote speaker.
Berwick is a former administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in the Obama administration, and President Emeritus and Senior Fellow, Institute for Healthcare Improvement he founded and led for 20 years. A patient safety advocate, his commitment to improve effectiveness, share innovation and deliver fair healthcare for everyone makes him the perfect ambassador for WISH and a valuable speaker, bringing a lifetime of health expertise to share with delegates at this year’s WISH Summit in Doha on February 17-18.
Berwick said: “I am honoured to be taking part in WISH and look forward to joining such a prestigious global community.
