Doha: Nasser Al Khater, Executive Director, Communications and Marketing, Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, yesterday affirmed that Qatar is ready to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup at whatever time of the year – summer, winter, fall or spring.
Speaking to Brazilian media people during their visit to the committee’s headquarters on the sidelines of the 24th Men’s Handball World Championships 2015, Al Khater said we are awaiting FIFA decision on the date of the World Cup after the formation of a committee to decide the deadline.
He said there will be a meeting here to disclose the deadline on February 24.
