According to reports, Chelsea are eyeing a move for Newcastle United keeper Karl Darlow.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is reportedly seeking the 26 year old as a possible replacement for Asmir Begovic, if the Bosnian departs this month.
As reported by the Daily Star:
“Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a surprise swoop for Newcastle goalkeeper Karl Darlow.
The 26-year-old has cemented his place in Rafa Benitez’s first-team this term, making 18 Championship appearances.
And his performances for the Magpies appear to have caught Antonio Conte’s eye.
The Chelsea manager is on the look out for a new back-up stopper with Asmir Begovic moving closer to the Stamford Bridge exit door.”
