DOHA: Qatar Petrochemical Company (Qapco) aims to sign up a record number of Qatari students for its scholarship and graduate trainee programmes at Qatar Career Fair 2013.

“We are expecting a record-breaking turnout of young Qataris at this year’s career fair,” explains Qapco’s Vice Chairman and Chief Executive officer Dr Mohammed Yousef Al Mulla. “Qapco’s objective is to generate interest from Qatari students to participate in our highly regarded scholarship programs, as part of our drive to develop local talent in support of the Qatar National Vision 2030. The company is committed to fulfilling the vision of the Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani to increase the participation of Qatari nationals in the workforce.” Student opportunities at Qapco include fully funded undergraduate scholarships, with training and summer internship opportunities in Qatar and overseas. And there are plenty of technical and non-technical opportunities for non-student Qatari citizens who are seeking a rewarding and exciting career with a truly global company.

Students and professionals are encouraged to visit the Qapco booth at stand EI-P03 in Hall 9 where they will learn about the exciting career and scholarship opportunities available. the peninsula
