Doha: Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), in cooperation with the Global Carbon Council (GCC), and in coordination with the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), organised a workshop on the carbon market and carbon unit programmes for the implementation of the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme (CORSIA) plan.
The workshop was held via video conference with the participation of more than 71 experts from representatives of aviation authorities, airports and ground handling companies from several Arab countries.
This workshop represented a significant occasion and opportunity for the participants to discover the projects and initiatives implemented by Qatar for environmental protection, especially the experience of the Global Carbon Council accredited by ICAO.
